FIND THE BEST REWARDS CARD FOR YOU
Everyone with good credit who uses credit cards should use a rewards card. Otherwise, you’re essentially paying anywhere from 1% to 6% more than you need to spend every time you make a purchase.
The best type of rewards card varies from person to person. Cash back cards are the most straightforward & tend to offer lower interest rates, 0% APR promotions and easy to obtain cash back sign up bonuses. Airline, point and travel cards typically offer bigger sign up bonuses, but also carry fees that make these cards a poor option for those who don’t spend $20,000 or more a year on their cards and travel frequently.

Credit Card Reward Tips
Skip the Annual Fee: Whether you're earning points, miles, or cash back, paying an annual fee will seriously impact how much you earn. For example, if a credit card charges a $60 annual fee, you may have to spend $6,000 just to earn back what you spent on the fee. With a no fee card, spending $6,000 will net you $60 in rewards.
Avoid Credit Card Points: Unlike cash back rewards, credit card points are often worth less than one cent. Plus, when you earn points, your redemption options are limited to whatever inventory your credit card company chooses to offer. If you earn cash back, you can basically use your rewards for anything you want.
Watch Out for High Interest Rates: Almost all rewards credit card charge higher interest rates than cards that don't have rewards. In some cases, interest rates can be 20-30% higher. If you carry balances from month to month, you may be better offer with a low interest or 0% APR credit card.
Resist Temptation: Getting tens of thousands of free miles or points may seem like a good deal, but cards that offer these bonuses tend to carry high annual fees. Unless you're comfortable taking on a $60 to $100 annual expense, don't jump at credit cards that offer tantalizing perks.
Ideas to Help You Find the Right Rewards Credit Card
What Type of Rewards Credit Card is Right for You: Credit card rewards offers come in a variety of tempting forms. Some cards try to lure you in with tens of thousands of free miles; others charge annual fees, but let you try them free for a year. As alluring as these offers may be, the most important thing to consider when choosing a rewards card is this: how much money can the card make you? Big spenders and savvy frequent fliers might be able to benefit from expensive frequent flyer or luxury platinum cards, but if you do the math, you will likely find paying a fee sharply reduces your net reward earnings. Cash Back Credit Cards Are the Best Type of Rewards Cards: Although some people swear by frequent flyer miles, almost every credit card user stands to benefit most from cash back credit cards. With cash back rewards, you don't need to spend tens of thousands of dollars to earn a free flight. There are no blackout dates or seat restrictions. You simply earn money that you can spend as you please. Full Article.
Two Airline Reward Credit Cards with Annual Fees Worth Paying : Ever wonder why airline credit cards offer massive sign up bonuses like free flights and tens of thousands of miles? The reason is pretty simple: they want to lure you in and collect high annual fees while you spend years spending enough money to earn free flights. Because of this, most airline credit cards should be avoided by all but the most knowledgeable users of frequent flyer programs. However, two airline credit cards actually offer good value.
