WWW.SMARTCREDITCHOICES.COM'S ARTICLES EDITOR CITIED ON MSN MONEY
SmartCreditChoices is extremely proud to have been cited and mentioned in a new credit card article written by Liz Pulliam Weston, an award-winning, nationally-syndicated personal finance columnist. In the article entitled, “Credit card companies' evil tricks,” Ms. Weston quotes SmartCreditChoices articles editor Jeff Weber on the subject of tricky 0% interest rates, an issue SmartCreditChoices has tackled in numerous articles aimed to provide better consumer awareness and understanding of how credit card applications can be difficult to understand.
Ms. Weston writes that, when applying for a 0% credit card, “the terms (can be) variable as well. A card may offer 0% for "up to" a year, for example, but once you've applied, you may get the touted rate for as little as three months, said Jeffrey Weber of SmartCreditChoices.com.”
We at SmartCreditChoices salute our articles editor for bringing attention to the “games” credit card companies play, and hope the many readers of that article, as well as all of our visitors, leave our website better armed to make smart credit choices when applying for a credit card.
